More mods on the Teisco bass today! I wasn't happy with the 2 volume 1 tone wiring. I installed a 3 way toggle and swapped the k***s for some large industrial control k***s.

I also had to route a small section out for the switch to fit. Now that It's playing and sounding great, I should probably replace the strings. It's only been 13 years...šŸ¤£ granted most of that time it was in various states of disrepair

Got the Tele wired, hardware on, and neck attached! Time for a set-up and it'll be ready to go!

This 1960s Decca/Teisco bass was the first BIG FIX i ever attempted on a guitar. Many moons ago I fixed the headstock that snapped completely in half.

When I took the tuners off I noticed it opened up a little bit. Nothing glue and rubber tubing can't take care of!

Now that's fixed I decided to put a matched set of Gotoh tuners on it! A much much needed upgrade now that It's back to life and playing better than it ever has!

This week's project has been fun so far! I had to remove almost 1/4" of wood from the neck pickup cavity so the pickup would sit flush.
