🍫 Melty S’mores Cupcakes – A Gooey Campfire Treat
These rich chocolate cupcakes are filled with melted marshmallow, topped with graham cracker crumbs, and finished with a smooth chocolate ganache for the ultimate s’mores experience.
Ingredients:
For the Cupcakes:
• 1 cup all-purpose flour
• 1/2 cup cocoa powder
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
• 3/4 cup granulated sugar
• 2 large eggs
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1/2 cup whole milk
For the Marshmallow Filling:
• 1 cup marshmallow fluff
For the Chocolate Ganache:
• 1/2 cup heavy cream
• 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
For Topping:
• 1/2 cup crushed graham crackers
• Extra marshmallows (optional)
Directions:
1️⃣ Prepare the Cupcake Batter:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners. In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
2️⃣ Mix the Wet Ingredients:
In another bowl, beat melted butter and sugar until combined. Add eggs and vanilla extract. Gradually mix in dry ingredients, alternating with milk.
3️⃣ Bake the Cupcakes:
Fill liners 3/4 full and bake for 18-20 minutes. Let cool completely.
4️⃣ Fill with Marshmallow:
Scoop out the center of each cupcake and fill with marshmallow fluff.
5️⃣ Make the Chocolate Ganache:
Heat heavy cream until just simmering, then pour over chocolate chips. Stir until smooth and let cool slightly before spreading over cupcakes.
6️⃣ Garnish and Serve:
Sprinkle crushed graham crackers on top. Optionally, add toasted marshmallows for extra s’mores flavor.
Tips:
• Use a kitchen torch to lightly toast the marshmallow filling for a classic campfire touch.
