Cherry Delight Dessert 🍒🍰
Ingredients:
For the Crust:
7 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs (about 9 whole crackers)
3 tbsp granulated sugar
For the Filling:
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
8 oz Cool Whip (whipped topping)
21 oz cherry pie filling
Directions:
1- Make the Crust: Melt butter in a medium bowl (about 30 seconds in the microwave). Stir in graham cracker crumbs and sugar until well combined. Press firmly into the bottom of a greased 8x8-inch baking dish. Set aside.
2- Prepare the Filling: In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Mix in powdered sugar and vanilla until well combined. Gently fold in Cool Whip until creamy and fluffy.
3- Assemble: Spread the filling evenly over the prepared crust. Spoon cherry pie filling over the top.
4- Chill: Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving. Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
