A sweet banner for one sweet birthday girl! 🍩🧁🎉
🎉 When I started this banner, I also decided I needed to keep better track of my order history, which led me to realize that this banner is the 8️⃣0️⃣th banner I have painted since I started doing this! 80 — that feels insane to say, but a pretty cool realization.
💜 I decided to start banner painting in mid-December 2025. I took a few free orders to help build my portfolio. Then, my mother passed away on December 17th, of course bringing things to a halt until the chaos of funeral planning, holiday chaos and general shock started to wind down a bit. My mom was always telling me how creative I was, and thought this was a pretty cool endeavor. However, she never got to see any of my work come to light. Coincidentally, today is my mother’s birthday. The first one since she has passed.
