Like this cute little guy! 🐝🐞🦋

Flowers provide food and habitat for pollinators, support biodiversity, and help create healthy ecosystems. Every bloom is doing a little bit of work behind the scenes.

If you’ve ever wondered why I don’t offer a traditional u-pick experience like many flower farms, one of my biggest reasons is wanting to protect the delicate balance happening here at The Glimmer Patch. While I absolutely love sharing the farm, limiting foot traffic helps reduce disturbance to pollinators, beneficial insects, nesting wildlife, and the growing spaces that support them.

Around here, we’re not just growing flowers we’re creating a little haven for nature, too. 💐🐝

Every glimmer serves a purpose. Some are for people, and some are for the creatures helping our world bloom.

Howdy, glimmer L💐Vers

I’ve been behind the scenes these last few days - I’ve been sewing more seeds, doing orders, working on the “adopt a row”! So excited to share that! Of course I’m extra, so I’m doing the most. THAT IS OKAY!

I don’t like to put all my business out there, BUT I wanted to explain that this month will look a little different. Posting - limited bouquets & blackout dates. But don’t worry. You can still order & book!

I’ll be taking LIMITED orders. I’ll still be dropping off Sydnor Heirloom Farmstand these next two weeks ( very limited bouquets) -

Three years ago today I was just trying to survive.
No big dream. No business plan. No “flowerfarmHER ” title.

Just a girl trying to stay sober.

While God was pulling me out of addiction and helping me rebuild my life, I planted a few seeds in a tiny patch of dirt on the farm. Honestly? I didn’t think much of it. I was just searching for joy. Somethin’ soft in a hard season.

But somewhere between the dirt, the tears, the sunshine, and the healing… The Glimmer Patch was born. 🌼🐸✨

What started as “just a few flowers” turned into purpose.
Turned into community.
Turned into a reminder that God can grow beautiful things out of broken ground.

People see bouquets now, events, flowers, and all the fun parts but The Glimmer Patch was built during one of the hardest seasons of my life. It was built while learning how to live sober. How to feel again. How to face life without numbing it.

And if I’m honest?
The flowers helped save me too.

Every seed planted felt like hope.
Every bloom felt like proof I was still here.

So when I say “sprinkle a glimmer of love,” I mean it deeply. Because this place, this patch, these glimmers… they came from God rebuilding me from the ground up.

If you’re struggling right now with addiction, grief, heartbreak, anxiety, starting over, whatever it may be please hear me when I say this:

You are not too far gone.
God still grows things in messy places. 🌱
