Over the years, we’ve designed kitchens in a range of styles, each shaped by the people living in them. This kitchen prioritizes entertaining because that’s what our client values... so, aside from ample seating, it also meant discreetly integrating speakers into their cabinetry so they can play music seamlessly throughout their home without ugly speakers everywhere. Can you guess where we hid them?

As a designer, a mom, someone who’s built a business, started over, and is now creating a blended family, I’ve learned that when we evolve, but our homes don’t keep up with us, we can end up feeling stuck and frustrated.

Who wants to celebrate a special milestone with us??? This October marks our 8th year in business, and we think that’s worth popping some bubbly and cheerzing for! 🍾🥂

We’re hosting a happy hour and opening our doors to get to meet locals, spread the cheer, and we’d LOVE to see YOU!!! We love serving the San Diego community and are so grateful for the support over these last 8 years!!

What do you do whenever there's a niche placed awkwardly in a room? This is a common dilemma, and my answer is that it depends on your desired functionality and budget...⁠
⁠
If it's a high-traffic area with lots of use, then I'd recommend a built-in cabinet custom-made to your specific needs. It can be the more expensive option, but it will be worth the investment considering the frequency of use. ⁠
⁠
But if it's in a low-traffic area with minimal use, placing a furniture piece may be the better option (and is often more cost-effective). ⁠
⁠
In our client's case, this niche is actually one of two niches in the same space (not sure why the redundancy), so we sourced a cabinet perfectly suited for their needs (mostly decorative). The trick here is SCALE... a piece that's too small will get lost in the space, and a piece too big will feel cramped and forced.⁠
