A little round up of our favorite closets and why I love them...
1. Storage that doesn't feel crowded. Yes, you can fit more cabinetry into each of these spaces but to me, the best designed closets have everything you need and yet still feel airy and spacious.
2. Moments that make each space feel special.
From a vanity in front of a window and felt-lined jewelry drawers to cozy window benches and carefully placed mirrors that emphasize natural light, we love finding room for more than storage.
3. Layered lighting with a beautiful statement fixture. Recessed lights, decorative fixtures, sconces, picture lights, architectural lights and even lighted clothing rods make every space (and every outfit) look and feel beautiful.

A perfect pairing. 🤍🫖

Our Junior Designer, Bailley, and Tea Room Curator, Adam, are getting married this weekend! We’re so happy to celebrate these two and wish them a lifetime of love, laughter, and tea for two.

A ceiling filled with LED twinkle stars brings a little magic to the basement media room at our Caves Valley project.

A study you’ll want to spend time in, even after the work is done.

At our Deep Willow project, custom millwork gives each person a desk, with closed storage to keep everyday essentials tucked away and open shelves for books, art, and collected pieces.

Warm wood contrasts with deep navy grasscloth, while a comfortable seat by the window offers a place to read or take a break.

A room made for working, with plenty of reasons to linger.

What’s better than a well-designed kitchen that functions as beautifully as it looks? We’re in the middle of two lovely kitchen designs for two very different projects/clients and I’m excited to see how we’ll create unique environments for each home. As one of the most hardworking spaces in the home, kitchens need to be thoughtfully considered down to the inch (or 1/8” more often!) Storage is important but making sure we have enough counter space is equally as critical. Open shelves vs closed cabinets, drawers vs doors, paneled appliances vs stainless, one or two dishwashers … what are your top 3 dream kitchen ideas?

Just like in life, the most memorable experiences are often in the smaller moments. I love to create a sense of intimacy and coziness and these spaces are usually my favorite. 🤍

I love a moody room, and for the lower level of our Caves Valley project we really leaned into it. 🤍

This is a large space, so rather than treating the entire floor as one room, we created a series of smaller spaces, each with its own purpose and personality. There are places to gather, play a game of pool, settle in for a movie, play poker or chat over a drink at the bar. It feels a little like having your own private club at home.

The deeper color palette, warm wood tones, vintage pieces and artwork help connect everything and make this expansive space feel intimate and comfortable. I especially love how you can move from one area to the next and have a completely different experience without even leaving the room.

Designing a larger home is all about creating moments of connection. 🤍
