What happens when your son asks you to make your DIL a pie for her birthday?!? I make one for her and one for me! Behold! Banana Cream Pie with strawberries and whipped cream! The first photo is before the whipped cream. Second is the final splendor! This is definitely one of my favorite creations! Marcus and Taija, I hope you enjoyed!

Good evening, everyone. I hope this post finds you well. I would like to apologize for my radio (internet) silence. To say the least, the first half of the year has not gone as planned. With the unexpected and devastating loss of my brother in April, life has been turned completely upside down. Then, I lost my step-mom in June. Apparently, life likes to kick me while I'm down. With heartfelt sincerity, I would like to thank all those that have shown up for me and my family. Thank you.

You learn something new every day! AND you CAN teach an old dog new tricks! 😁 Thanks to my DIL, I've now discovered stabilized whipped cream! (Yes, I'm sure I should have known about this sooner 🤷‍♀️) So, when your pie from Crusty Not Dusty Pies need it's whipped cream to stick around a bit longer than a day or two, I've got you covered! Still made from scratch but has gelatin added for stability. The taste and consistency are the same! (I experimented! 😉) Message me to order! Menu is pinned at the top of the page. 😊
