A beautiful addition for your home! 18x12x1.75 maple end-grain wood, arranged in a brick-like pattern. It features an inlay of a deer with prominent antlers standing in a forest landscape with pine trees, grass and rocks. The inlay is made from padauk wood, which comes from central and tropical West Africa. We have added stainless steel feet to the board. Message me if you are interested!

We are creating a waving flag! Once the board was made, we carved the waves around the stars and filled the stars with epoxy resin. Then came the rest of the carving followed by a ton of sanding! I have applied the first coat of Walrus Tung Oil. It is soaking in and will require a few more coats for the perfect finish. The board is maple, cherry and walnut.

Making board butter. The board butter is made from organic bees wax and pure food grade mineral oil. It is used to condition the boards. We include a can of board butter with all of our boards that are purchased!
