Excited to be in Charleston, South Carolina on November 8 for cooking in the Texas Village with so many talented folks. is heading to the Low country for the weekend.

Holy Smokes is a unique event with 4 BBQ villages (Traditional, Texas, New School and Coastal) celebrating the history of American BBQ in the Lowcountry while serving up tasty BBQ to 2,500+ guests.

The festival includes all you can eat BBQ from over 50 pitmasters and chefs, live music, and delicious libations, all while supporting an incredible cause! This year’s festival is benefiting Hogs for the Cause and Ronald McDonald House Charities of Charleston.

For most people in barbecue, I think we’d be lying to say we don’t dream about making a and list. We at are blessed and honored to be included on their list of top Texas-style BBQ joints outside of the Lone Star State. To make the top 20 trays list last year and now being included here, couldn’t be more proud of our team and the food we put out every day.
Thank you for your dedication to the craft and including us in this list. What a feeling to be the only barbecue restaurant in Illinois and Chicago to make the list.
