Some places are warm. Others are loyal.

In New England, kindness doesn’t always come with a smile. It comes with follow-through. With showing up.

With remembering you long after the conversation ends.

The South is friendly in ways that feel easy and generous—but I’ve learned I miss the quiet kind of care.

The kind that doesn’t announce itself. The kind that just… stays.

Some places make you feel liked. Others make you feel known.

And the ones we miss are usually the ones that knew us well enough to stay.

I lost myself and found myself in Charlotte. And for that I am grateful.

Time gets more expensive as you get older, it just is what it is…

2025 was much better than the previous years for me personally but it still was its own version of hard.

Healing doesnt feel like healing when it’s happening. It’s actually soul crushing at first… and then… you realize you are a Phoenix. Magnificent and strong.

Here I am going into ‘26 with better boundaries and less hyper responsibility than ever before. More myself than I have felt in a very long time. I didnt realize I abandoned myself for the sake of loyalty to others and when I did realize that, a huge light went off in my spirit.

The things that need to stay can stay, everything else…see ya latah byeeee 👋🏼 I’ll be spending more time in my ‘Nah, Im good’ era next year with absolutely no shame 😌✨

I spent 20 years trying to fix myself only to find out I wasnt even broken.

The bible teaches us to seek the Lord and all other things will be added unto us. My head knew that but my heart didnt.

I went out into the world to try and add to myself and subtract from myself, realizing the math wasnt mathin’.

Trying to find myself and then lost myself in the process.

But I was there all along. And so was He. 🤯🙌🏼

Today was the most festive I have felt during the Holidays in many years.

My eyes filled with happy tears because I felt the Christmas Spirit again. I thought it left me forever.

The other day, I even danced quite happily without a care to The Waitresses The Wrapping down the aisles in Target. If you see me at Target, I hope you’ll join me! 🎄🤭

I always talk about New England, but I definitely have family in the South.

As Charlotte is experiencing hard times, families being ripped from each other, hard working loyal people being up rooted from their homes I just want to hold on to my both sides of my family extra tight ♥️
