Playhouse reveal!! 🏠 🎉

Goodness gracious these things were a labor of love, but seeing them go from sketches to renders to construction to real life was so exciting!! I left the world of architecture to pursue my creative dreams, but I never thought I’d get to create mini architecture as part of it! 🤗

I’m so grateful to for trusting me to bring this vision to life and for being so patient by waiting until I was out of the first trimester (iykyk 🤢) to make it finally happen!

Olivia already LOVED visiting Grow Cafe, but now she loves it even more 🥰 Before long, I’ll have TWO little nuggets to take there to play ❤️

Gigi’s first mural! 🤗 someday she and Olivia will be my little helpers on future murals 🥰

I loved painting this loteria-themed mural for the sweet kiddos at and getting to know the incredible staff there! We’re teaching Olivia to be tri-lingual, so I strongly believe teaching kids to be multi-lingual and PROUD of it at a young age is so important ❤️

I’m so grateful for for asking me to paint another school mural - they’re so special to me 🥰 and thank you to for funding all the mural supplies and providing grants that do so much good in our local community!

Mural reveal! 🐛 🐞 🐜 This afternoon I got to see firsthand the joy my mural brought so many little ones and their parents and I don’t know how to express my immense gratitude, but here’s a start:

To , thank you for loving on my work and for pushing to have it in your beautiful space. I know how deeply you care about children and their development, so for you to want my art to be the backdrop of foundational interactions between children and their parents means so much to me. ❤️

We started this partnership 2 years ago right before Olivia was born and I NEVER imagined it would lead us here, but gosh I’m so glad it has! Working with you and learning from you as I’ve navigated motherhood has been a huge blessing. Back in October, I had the incredible honor of unveiling the first of a series of murals I created for at the Myers Park Pediatric Clinic. The theme was rainforest—inspired by my childhood summers spent in Brazil 🇧🇷 lush, vibrant, and full of life!

But more than just a backdrop, the mural was meant to spark wonder and bring a sense of calm, joy, and imagination to children and families walking through the doors. It is rooted in the very important principles of The Basics created by Smart Start to foster the healthy development of children. ❤️

It was a celebration of the early years, the building blocks, the quiet and powerful moments where growth takes root. Having started the project right before Olivia was born, it has meant so much to me to learn and grow with her whole working on these special murals. 🫶🏼

And now, tomorrow, a second mural will be unveiled. A new theme. A new space. But the same heart: to make kids feel safe, seen, and inspired and to foster engagement between little ones and their caregivers ❤️ what a privilege it has been to work on something so near and dear to my heart!

Just a girl and her squiggle frames 🤗 I never imagined these would become so popular and holy moly they’re labor intensive, but it makes me SO happy to be creating again!

Next step: framing the artwork and shipping them to people all over the country (pinch me!)

We’re never too lost, too broken, or too far gone for His love 💗 🐑

These paintings were something completely new for me—I’ve never painted anything like them before, but I absolutely loved the process. There was something so peaceful about bringing this scene to life. How reassuring is it that we’re all worthy of God’s love and grace, no matter what? ❤️

It’s been a long time since I’ve shared anything here, and honestly, stepping away was much needed.

I’ve been soaking up all the precious moments with my little one, who is growing up too fast and is now so much more independent 🥺 (and finally [mostly] sleeping through the night!).

Lately, I’ve been feeling the pull to create again. I’ve missed making things, sharing the process, and, most of all, this community. ❤️

As I step back in, I’m leaning into a different direction. I’m not quite sure *exactly* what that looks like yet, but I’m excited to build, experiment, and bring new projects to life!

…and I can’t wait to share the journey of SALT + LIGHT 2.0 with y’all 🤗
