Fleece to Finish is Back Y'all! With TWO fleece options!
This years Fleece to Finish features my local fiber farm, Elke, with a Jacob fleece and a Tunis fleece! Both are primitive breeds meaning their wools have changed very little over the years they've been domesticated. You are welcome to take both classes and make your own Jacob/Tunis Blend!
You will be receiving about 10oz of raw fleece to process. Soap and buckets will be provided. We will be out on the back porch for the whole day. Expecting ~30-40% weight shrinkage once the lanolin and detritus have been cleaned out.
Once the fleeces are cleaned and dried, we'll run it through the drum carder and then you're set to start spinning!
If you are unable to make two days, we can prioritize and get your fleece carded by end of day Saturday!
Feel free to ask any questions about the process! It's a fun experience and great intro to fleece processing!

Long time knitter looking to try crochet? Feel like you need a bit of fiber arts in your life? Just need some guidance to get started and that YouTube video isn't cutting it? There's a class for that!
If you've come to Sunday Sip N Stitch, there's a good chance you've met Brenda (Brenda Cross). She's a phenomenal crocheter and has offered to share her talents with y'all! First Saturdays she will have appointments to help you get started crocheting and fall in love with the skill!
Class is offered with and without materials. 1 ball of Uptown Worsted Acrylic and a 5.5mm hook.

Is it giving 2012 hipster college kid?
I'm working real hard to have plenty of handmade garments to fill my wardrobe and really make statements.
🧢The HardBrimmed Hat by Andrew Caliri is a newish stable. A crocheted take on the classic ball cap.
🎽I did a slight edit to the Mini Mock Neck Tank by Jessie Maed Designs I love the construction, but knew I'd want a deeper neck, so I never went back to pick up for the crew neck. And I love the look!
🧥Chase Harpole | Knitting Patterns & Instructor did it again designing a pattern I'm going to reach for over and over this summer. I had the joy of testing the Cabana Cardigan and lemme tell ya, you're gonna want to look out for it. It's a sideways construction that gives some fantastic vertical striping that I worked in Kelbourne Woolens Skipper
🩳 I've had these around for a while, they're the Everyday PJs by Ross Taylor | Hand Dyed Yarn for Knitting and Crochet and I keep telling myself I'm going to add some pockets, and keep forgetting that I want them until I reach for them. What do you think? Buck up and get some pockets on here?

Nothing like some good pride yarn to keep the good pride vibes going! Marsha has all the pink and bright rainbow speckles, and Sylvia has beautiful lavender and red pools. They're great on their own, and even better together!
