A prayer from Romans 4 & 5
You are the father of all who believe. You give life to the dead and call into being things that were not. As Abraham believed you, father may I believe you. As his faith was credited to him as righteousness, may my faith be credited to me as righteousness.
May I not waiver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but be strengthened in my faith, giving all glory to God. I am fully persuaded that God has power to do what he has promised.
I’ve been justified, through faith, therefore I have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. I boast in the hope of the glory of God, but also in the glory in my suffering. I know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. My hope in God does not put me to shame because God‘s love has been poured out into my heart through the Holy Spirit.
While I was yet a sinner Christ died for me for just us through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners so also through the obedience of the one man the many were made righteous.
Against all hope, may I in hope, believe. In Jesus name, Amen.
