Special post. This is my mom, my brother and me.

One of my favorite events all year in Charlotte is Saturday, October 6th... Charlotte's Komen Race for the Cure. I would love to have you join "WBTV B**b Tube Team Molly". (Morning Anchor John Carter will also have a "Team John".) We had a huge team last year. This year I want to make it even bigger.

My mom is a 23-year survivor... and now, as of 4 months ago, she's fighting again. Our family supports her hugely. You can read more about her story on my Team Page (link below). She was okay with me taking her story public because as she said... it's a reminder once you're a cancer survivor, you're still always fighting. She's doing great.

We love this simple Memory Jar idea! Whenever you do something special with family, have everyone write down a memory from the day and place them in a jar throughout the year. At New Year's, read through them and bring back all the smiles you made together throughout the year.
