We own alpacas for their fiber which is shorn once a year and then it is made into amazing yarns and Roving. This fiber is then created into unique crafts, like Felted soap,Dryer Balls,Bird Nester Balls ,ornaments, amazing socks, scarfs, Knit hats, gloves and so much more! We even sell the Alpaca Poo! Good morning…..we are doing good through this heat wave up here in Illinois! The alpacas have their fan’s, fresh cool water, 💦 being wet down from neck to legs and given their special minerals. Fresh hay and lots of play time out in the pasture.

We hope you are staying out of this heat and enjoying the last of Summer. Back in North Carolina it is so much worse. Over 100 and that’s not counting the “extreme” humidity down there ! Not just a weeks worth like us up here….but months like this. Glad we moved up here to the Midwest!

If you live in this area, some of our future honey may bee 🐝 created from the flowers in your yard. Bees travel up to 6 miles away for good nectar! So if you like local honey, it doesn't get more local than this.
