A wealthy young woman was seated next to a poor elderly man on a plane. As soon as she sat down, she immediately called the flight attendant:
"Please find me another seat right away."
The attendant gently replied, "I’m sorry, ma’am, but the economy class is fully booked."
The woman frowned and responded, "But I don’t want to sit next to a useless old man. Do something about it."
While the old man sat there stunned, the flight attendant said, "I’ll report this to the captain."
Hearing the story from the attendant, the captain looked intrigued and said, "Interesting. I’ve never encountered a case like this before. I have a plan. Listen..."
After hearing the plan, the attendant was completely surprised.
A few minutes later, she returned and said, "The captain has informed me that there is a seat available in First Class. He also wishes to apologize for having to sit next to someone so unpleasant."
The woman quickly stood up with satisfaction, but at that moment, the attendant reached out toward the elderly man and said,
"Sir, would you please come with me?"
The entire cabin erupted in applause.
Hold your head high and keep your feet on the ground. After all, kindness is always the highest class of all!
