A home should feel collected, comfortable, and lived in, not like a showroom. ✨

One of my favorite parts of the design process is layering textures, fabrics, lighting, and color in a way that feels warm and personal while still reflecting how my clients actually live day to day.

I love finding ways to incorporate existing pieces that already hold meaning or history, blending them with new elements to create something that feels fresh, balanced, and uniquely theirs!

From centuries-old stonework to quiet countryside corners, England really knows how to romanticize architecture!! 🇬🇧✨

Swipe through some of my favorite moments from this trip, historic streets of Cheltenham, visiting St Edward’s Church, exploring the timeless beauty of University of Oxford, and getting completely inspired at Blenheim Palace.

And yes… Diddly Squat Farm Shop was absolutely my favorite stop 🐄🌿

Craftsmanship and history everywhere, even architectural instruments from the 1830s !😮

Felt like stepping into another era. So much inspiration packed into one trip! ✨

Most builder homes come “complete” but not necessarily designed.

There’s a difference.

A lot of the standard selections are made to feel safe and appeal to everyone… which is why so many homes end up feeling a little flat.

The good news is you don’t need to renovate or start over to change that.

It’s the lighting. The paint. The small details people usually overlook.
That’s what really brings a space to life and makes it feel like yours.

Before you upgrade everything with your builder, take a step back.
The real transformation usually happens after you get the keys ✨

Save this for later… you’ll see your space differently once you do.

Rainy streets, quiet walks, castle views, and little details you almost miss if you’re not paying attention. From wandering the Royal Mile to looking up at Edinburgh Castle and finding the softest blooms at Palace of Holyroodhouse… felt so layered and alive (no matter the weather!) 

The rain, the light, the textures, it all adds to the design in a way that feels effortless and real 🖤
