Crochet uses a surprising large amount of math.

I am in the process of designing a sea turtle. Each shape requires a different number of stitch increases to produce a flat shape. Each side of the shape needs to have the same number of stitches as all other shapes.

I have worked out the top shell prototype over the last three days. I am fairly pleased with the results.
