This weekend was incredible. I have always wanted to see the Northern Lights and Friday and Saturday night we were able to head up to the Dunes and finally see them. Obviously these pictures do not to them justice. Seeing them your naked eye is gorgeous. We couldn't get over just how amazing these moments were. So glad we got to see a part of history together.

The camera never does justice to what you see with the naked eye. Tonight's sunset was breathtaking. It felt like fall, but also like we were trapped in the upside down. As soon as the sun set, the hue of colors that arose were stunning and vibrant. I cannot get enough of being up at the beach watching these moments. It's a simple break from reality and really allows us to take in these special times. No sunset is ever the same. And you never know how it is going to change over the period of time that your watching it. I love how tonight's felt like a painting.

The weather has slowly been getting warmer and getting out of the house to enjoy it has been much needed. I love the area we live in, it's peaceful and just full of so much beauty. I also really love being near the beach. Here are some of my recent pics that I've captured.

It's already been released in CD and cassette tape format. Now to add to your growing collection, get the .grind debut album on vinyl thanks to !

Again, thank you to the band for allowing me to get creative and do the album artwork. It was such an honor and a thrill This is so unreal and a dream come true for us both. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would see my artwork displayed on an album, let alone a vinyl or cassette. Amazing and so well done.

Around Easter my partner surprised me with this amazing painting done by . I was blown away. He had done all this research and found one of the most perfect paintings to gift me with. We got it professionally framed and found the perfect spot to hang it in our bedroom (amongst the rest of my never ending Jurassic Park collection).

I cannot stop staring at how fantastic it looks. The colors just pop. It's such a perfect centerpiece and is such a great addition to our now growing artwork collection.

What an unreal feeling seeing the banners finally up. My photography is flooding the town we live in and it's amazing.

A few months ago I entered the local photography contest to submit a photo for a chance to have my photography placed on a banner flag to be displayed around our local community. I never got a notice that I won, but I never really looked online to see if anything had been announced. It really wasn't until my mom decided to randomly Google my name when I found out it had come up in the local winners for the contest. What a rush.

The dream has become a reality (I waited months to see it) because now my photo along with 3 other amazing photographers now have their pictures printed on banners hanging literally all around our town! They will be displayed all year round until the next contest. How exciting is that?!

Fun fact, one of the other winners is also my boyfriend's sister. You can see a lot of our banners hanging next to each other side by side, which is also amazing to see.

I feel at home out here. I feel a sense of calmness and peace that I didn't have before. A sense of belonging and acceptance. Life is good. I'm blessed.
