We paint each textile by hand, slowly and attentively, allowing time to guide the process. There is no repetition, no rush, no attempt to make one piece identical to another.

The golden wheat motif is not decoration.
It is a symbol of continuity, land, and quiet strength — something rooted, timeless, and deeply human.

My name is Ksenia Yakovenko.
I am the founder of YAKOVENKO — a European textile art studio based in Ukraine.

Since 2012, my family and I have been working with hand-painted textiles, believing that true beauty lives in process, not speed. Over the years, we explored fashion, collaborations, and wearable art — a long path that naturally led us to linen, to the table, and to everyday rituals.

Today, YAKOVENKO focuses on hand-painted linen for the home.
Soft, balanced tones. Motifs inspired by land, memory, and rhythm.

We believe that true luxury lives in:
— time and patience
— the human hand
— continuity of craft
— calm, meaningful objects made to last and exist beyond trends.

This is our quiet philosophy.

Each piece is painted by hand, slowly and intentionally, allowing subtle irregularities to remain — as a trace of the maker’s presence. We work with natural fabrics, restrained palettes, and forms that leave space for life to happen around them.

The studio works in Ukraine, where every textile is still created with care, patience, and respect for material and time.

We finished a very beautiful table set with a tablecloth (3.5m) and napkins for 8 people. It took us 2.5 weeks to complete it. Yesterday, a Customer from the USA received it, considering that we sent it only 8 days ago. He is very happy! And for us this is the most important thing in everything we do. To create this set, we chose pure linen in a beautiful natural shade and painted it with gold and bronze paints. Another work we are proud of!)
