A thank you letter to everyone who has ever attended a Sip & Stitch. ❤️🧵🥂

Seven events. Many bags made, new faces, familiar faces, conversations, laughs & memories.

Over the past year, I’ve had the opportunity to introduce so many people to sewing through our Sip & Stitch, and it’s easily been one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.

When I started hosting these events, I wanted to create more than just another sewing class. I wanted to cultivate a creative space where people could come together, try something new, learn a skill, and genuinely enjoy the experience.

And you’ve trusted me to create that space for you, time and time again.

Something I never want to take for granted is that this business is built on people who take a chance on me. People who purchase a ticket, show up, trust me to teach them something new, and then come back again.

Spending my days teaching the craft I love, surrounded by people who genuinely want to be there, rarely feels like work.

So, if you've ever attended a Sip & Stitch or multiple, THANK YOU.

Learning how to sew is a skill that continues to serve you long after you've learned the basics.

Whether you want to make your own clothes, hem your pants, create things for your home, or simply have a creative outlet, it all starts with learning the fundamentals.

Our next Adult Learn to Sew Camp is Saturday, October 17th, from 10 AM to 3 PM.

If learning how to sew has been on your list of things to do, this is a great opportunity to finally get started.

San Antonio, join us for our next Sip, Stitch & Brunch, October 10.

During this workshop, you will learn basic machine mechanics & sewing techniques to create your very own tote bag.

Between a catered brunch, delicious w**e, everything is carefully curated to ensure you leave with a finished tote and learn a few skills along the way.

Whether you're new to sewing, bag-making or looking for a create night out. You are welcome!🤗

It's been almost a year since our very first Sip & Stitch, and next Saturday I’ll be hosting number SIX. 🥹🧵🥂

It makes me so happy to see how these events have grown and, even more, how many people have been introduced to sewing because of them.

You come for a fun experience, but you leave with a bag you actually made with your own two hands and a pretty cool memory attached to it. ❤️

Here’s to more sewing, more community, and many more Sip & Stitches to come.

To answer the question of which event you should attend, you can always attend both! 🤗

That said, there are some differences between the Learn to Sew Camp and Sip & Stitch.

Learn to Sew Camp is focused on learning. The goal is to build your confidence and reinforce some muscle memory, so you feel more comfortable when you’re back home with just you and your machine.

Sip & Stitch can be your introduction to sewing, or it can simply be a fun, relaxed event where you get to sew, socialize, and enjoy the experience.

So, whether you’re looking to really build your sewing skills or just have a fun sewing experience, there’s an event for you! 🧵✨
