Sent this sweet little green blanket back to my hometown to be put in an auction to support a couple of local boys and a firefighter that were in a tragic firework explosion last Wednesday. My hometown has put so much together to support the young men and their families through this difficult time.

The auction will be held July 26th from 12 to 3 at the Sequoayh County fair grounds. There will be live music, bake sale with more yummy treats than you can imagine, BBQ, and the auction itself with a little something for everyone! All proceeds will go to the families of the three young men. Find all the details at bbq benefit for Brad, Ely, and Cash Facebook event.

I picked my yarn and hook back up in October of 2024 to keep me busy through some medical testing.. when I picked it back up, I never imagined I’d get to make well over 30 blankets in less than a year. Read that again, THIRTY!! I’ve been blessed to be able to give a little piece of my heart and hard work to so many families and some repeat customers!
