In good company! My friend Kelsi also had tiny sunflowers this year! So many of you had BIG sunflowers this year (thanks for sharing your photos!) so it was nice when Kelsi pointed out I wasn't the only one with tiny sunflowers😂

One of my vendor reached out with a tulip substitution for a different tulip so I think this one is going to be shipped this fall!

CONFIRMED for SPRING Tulips 2027 - Tulip Mount Tacoma. She was the talk of the town at one point. Everyone loved her!

Tulip Mount Tacoma is a double tulip. She is a cream white color with a little bit of green. Not good for hydroponic winter growing. We will see her in the spring!

Tulip Spryng Break is a triumph tulip. She is a cream color with red edges. She opens big and beautiful and I can't wait to see her this winter. I love her!

My Spryng Break vendor reached out with a tulip substitution for a different tulip so I think Spryng Break is going to be shipped this fall!

Flower School! Neighbors you CAN grow hydrangeas! They just need to be the right type for our area. Look for "Panicle" hydrangeas. Hydrangea paniculata grows on NEW WOOD so we don't have to worry about the snow. It can grow down to Zone 3 (-40). Hydrangea arborescens can also grow in our area.
