The Happy Accident. The one off that became a movement -> The Teachers Lounge Movement.
This is where it all began.
It was meant to be content for us. What we didn’t expect was the joy and emotional reaction the teachers would have. What we also didn’t anticipate was our reaction to seeing this all unfold right before our eyes.
There were tears everywhere. And we knew. We knew we had a concept that could change the world.
Teachers are one of the most under appreciated career choices that have the most impact on our culture and on humans. They deserve everything and more.
With The Teachers Lounge Movement…a National Campaign, we have an opportunity to help them feel seen, appreciated and worthy. By providing them a wellness based environment made for them and just for them, we can give them a moment to reprieve even if only for 5 minutes. We know the power of design. They’ll feel recharged, go back to the classrooms, and be better for the students creating a domino effect for the community.
We’re going into our second year of our nonprofit and we’re going in strong. It does take a village though. From all the support we’ve been receiving from the design world and education world, we know we have something special that can have lasting impact.

We’re seeking in-kind donations and funding to grow TDB and our mission to hit all 50 States! We know we have big goals but we know there is big return for the future of our kids. And of course, our beloved and ever important teachers.
