Ok so maybe I have quit embroidery? š
havenāt finished a single piece since maybe Novemberā¦. Iām not sure if itās my fixation on school, my self-isolation in the semi-winter weāve had in Colorado, my medication preferring to focus on researching 1890s ladies-of-the-evening rather than miniature stitching, the general state of⦠things happening in the worldā¦probably a combination of all the above.
None of the things in my previous post even made it in to the Manitou store before the winter holidays, and Iāve been silent since so. I guess I felt I should acknowledge my absence even though no one asked š
I wonāt delete this page or dissolve my LLC, but I wonāt be checking this or posting here so if you have a mighty need you may request to add my personal IG (in bio). I am going to focus on my family, school, and (hopefully) some personal art projects (but probably not til March when I have a week off between classes, if Iām being honest). I may still accept a commission or two from family, friends or previous commission customers. Maybe a market or two when Iām in a better place mentally.
Thank you to every true friend who has encouraged me through this, and to anyone who got a little joy out of seeing a naughty word embroidered. I hope that in 800 years when I finish my PhD some of you will be around to celebrate with me.
The end. š«¶
