Some families find the perfect home, but realize it doesn’t quite function the way they need it to.

That was the story of our Leipers Fork family. They loved their home, but the layout wasn’t serving the way they lived, gathered, and entertained. Our job was to help bridge that gap by creating spaces that felt both beautiful and practical for everyday life.

One of our favorite transformations was opening up the double living room/ Kitchen area, creating distinct areas for relaxing, watching TV, hosting friends, and making memories together without sacrificing flow or function.

One thing about this Leipers Fork project ... every detail was intentional, especially the paint color selection. ✨

The right paint color does so much more than just “cover a wall.” It sets the tone for the entire space. In this bathroom, we wanted the color to feel soft and calming while still allowing the darker cabinetry, layered artwork, warm brass, and collected textures to stand out beautifully.

Paint shifts with natural light, surrounding materials, ceiling height, and even the time of day, which is why selecting the right tone is one of the most important parts of creating a cohesive home.

It’s never just about picking a pretty color. It’s about creating a feeling the moment you walk into the room.

This space completely came to life through the layering of intentional design elements. From the warmth of the cabinetry to the contrast of the darker accents, the statement lighting, and the collected textures throughout the room, every detail was chosen to create a kitchen that feels elevated, welcoming, and lived in.

We wanted this home to feel beautiful without feeling overly polished ... a space that feels authentic to the family and functional for everyday life while still making a statement.

We are deeply grateful for the sacrifices made by so many and for the freedoms we are able to enjoy because of them.
