Amy has been with Chimspector since October of 2024. She has a background in Customer Service and we couldn't be more grateful to have her.

A Lexington native, Amy knows the Midlands inside and out. That local knowledge goes a long way when a homeowner calls in, whether she is answering questions about what a chimney inspection covers or getting them on the schedule with the right technician.

Take a look two installations that we completed this week!

First, we have some White Birch logs by Real Fyre. These are vented gas logs, so the flame impengement will resemble that of a real fire, hence the name.

Second, we have a beautiful full coverage chimney cap, styled in a hip and ridge shape, with standing seams. Not only is this cap going to add some curb appeal, but it will protect this chimney for years and years to come.

This firebox was crumbling from the inside out. The walls were deteriorating and the system was not safe to use. Our team went in, demoed the old firebox down to the shell, and rebuilt it with brand new firebrick - solid, level, and ready to burn safely for years to come.

Today we went to Carolina Chimney services for a full day of hands-on training. We spent the day going over in-field modifications, how to gather proper chimney cap measurements, and best practices for moisture prevention through quality installation.

Days like this are what separate companies that just do the work from companies that are always working to do it better. We never stop learning and we never stop looking for ways to better serve our customers.
