I haven’t posted in a while because I’ve been thinking. Normally I’m extremely quick to react but not when the world’s problems feel so immense. So hear it goes, I lead with love. There is so much hatred and division and I refuse to add to it. My refusal isn’t cowardice or bending to someone else’s will. It’s an outright refusal to allow hate to turn me into someone that is an affront to my nature. Nothing will erase me and those I love. No religion, sitting president or person on the internet will erase my joy. My love is too vast to be swept away by hate. My love for my lgbtq+ community, women, minorities and all those who need it will never dim. Please know if you need a friend I’m here. Happy Pride 🌈
