Recent work.... the Christmas ornaments just need holes drilled and ribbon attached. The coaster is spoken for but the rest are available

I decided to try burning on canvas. There is definitely a learning curve but I think I like it. The mountain range image was a found image (artist unknown) and transferred with graphite paper and the other 2 I sketched directly onto the canvas.

I wasn't able to do much for a while because of shoulder pain but have recently been finishing up unfinished projects and unearthing things I thought I had already sent out. Here are some pictures of my more recent projects. My WIP is part of a Christmas gift so I won't be able to share pictures of that for a while.

Current work in progress. Usually I use graphite paper to transfer images to the wood but this time I decided to sketch directly onto the wood... so far so good I think

Ghost has been inspecting our work... first she inspected my daughter's art (hence the purple paint on her) and then she came to see how my project was going and fell asleep.

I'm still working on 2020 ornaments and have plenty of blanks left at the moment. Each is getting finished with a red ribbon for hanging. This is my most recent one. If we need anything to follow up 2020 it's Hope.

These Hogwarts themed wooden spatulas were requested by my mom as gifts for my nieces. As a fellow Harry Potter geek I was more than happy to oblige. They arrived at their new home today!

I finished 2 more wooden spoon/spatulas but won't be posting pictures until they're in the hands of their new owners. The hummingbird wall art is coming along and there are coasters in progress too! Check back for coaster and spatula pictures but for now here is the hummingbird in progress...
