As an interior designer we have to follow building codes and work with neighborhood associations, but that doesn’t stop clever design strategy. No connected garage allowed? No problem. We added a functional entryway and powder room all in one compact space.

This is the shower layout you didn’t know you needed. Smart design choices definitely help on cold mornings. We intentionally placed the plumbing valve near the entrance to this walk-in shower, so the owners can wait for the water to heat up before stepping in.
