To some this will just be a picture of Nigella. But for me it’s an answered prayer.

The time between spring and summer is always a stretch with flowers. Spring flowers are finished but summer flowers aren’t ready.

Yesterday morning I was about to email our markets to tell them we wouldn’t be making it because we just didn’t have enough to come.

But then I walked to the back of one of our fields and found this patch of Nigella and other flowers that self seeded from last year.

For the past few weeks I have worried and stressed over having enough flowers. I have prayed and prayed that we would somehow make things work and here we are. I feel so foolish for ever thinking God couldn’t find a way.

Some might say this is just luck or circumstance. That’s fine. You have a right to believe what you want to believe. But this is what I believe. The timing of finding this Nigella was too perfect.

Wedding number 1 of last week.

Last week was one of the most exhausting and exciting weeks we’ve experienced yet. We had 3 weddings in a week with two of those being the same day. The only way I survived was because of the awesome people that helped me.

Spring is busy, but I love it. 🫶🏻

April is our busiest month with weddings this year. It’s also when summer annuals need to be planted and spring annuals are finishing up.

This month has come with lots of early mornings and late nights. But I couldn’t be more thankful.
