Wrapped up this custom kitchen island build—walnut base with a solid beech butcher block top.

What started as a concept turned into a fully functional centerpiece with heavy-duty drawers and a hidden pull-out trash system.

🎄 Christmas Eve build, but make it EXTRA 🎄

Wrapped this one up just in time for Santa 🎅
An 8-foot long entry table made from a wild Mappa Burl slab, packed with insane figuring, gnarly knot holes, and a live edge absolutely loaded with burls.

Finished off with a bold Flowy Line table base to keep things clean and modern while the wood does all the talking.

Some people bake cookies on Christmas Eve… I wrestle burl slabs!

Sanding - What was once the most time consuming part of every project by a long shot has now been reduced to 1/4 of what it used to be with this new sander. I never could’ve imagined how much time this would save while still giving me a better finish!

Every slab tells a story — this one’s about to become a walnut coffee table with some serious character. Cracks to be stabilized, curves to accentuate… It’s going to shine once I’m done with it.
