Remember this fall piece I posted a few days ago? As I passed it in my work area each day, something about it kept bugging me. It was missing something that I hadn’t noticed when creating it and I couldn’t really put my finger on what. Does that ever happen to you? So, since the resin had already cured I decided to jazz up the frame a little bit. I’m satisfied now. Haha!🎃❤️

Working hard this week to prepare for an event at the St. Joe Center for the Arts. It runs from 9/18-10/31. I’m ecstatic that I was chosen as a participant! I have to give a title to all my pieces and it takes about 21 pieces to fill my space. The wheels are turning haha!😂❤️

This lantern became quite the challenge but the beauty of it is well worth the effort!

I removed and resined on three of the six glass panes to create 3 individual ocean scenes. Special shells highlight this piece along with a turtle, vitrigraph strands, crushed shell, glass bubbles and resin.

It will add to any season just by how it is placed with florals, ribbon and candle choice. Very cool! It will be the star at my next market. 🏮🐚🐢🌊

Manatees, also known as sea cows, are very large slow moving mammals that graze peacefully on aquatic plants and sea grasses. We see them often here in Florida when we visit various springs. This one is on a 5”x7” weathered wood frame. He is floating along the sea bottom heading for a bite to eat. He is a fun one to add to your decor! 🌊🐚❤️

Look how cool this lantern decor piece turned out. The finish of the lantern itself has a gold, rustic vibe with plenty of space inside for a true candle or one with a battery timer. Resin and coastal embellishments took it from just pretty to a big wow!
