The before and afters on this are really crazy! This one was definitely a challenge. When I went to remove the wallpaper, I discovered a second layer of paper underneath that had most likely been installed when the house was built - about 50 years ago.

To make matters worse, it was bonded directly to bare drywall with zero wall prep. 😱😱😱 At that point, your only options are to either replace the drywall entirely (no thank you) or create a new sound surface on top of it all.

While it added an extra day to do oil based primer and re-size the wall, it made for a beautiful outcome. 💜
