The Halloween bins come down in a few weeks and Christmas follows right behind. If they're living against the back wall of the garage right now, this is the fix. The SafeRacks 4' x 8' Overhead Storage Bundle puts all of it on the ceiling, over the hood of your car, where it stays out of the way 10 months a year.

An 8-foot garage ceiling rules out a 2-post lift. It doesn't rule out a lift. The BendPak LR-10000 low-rise scissor lift collapses to 4.5 inches, so you park right on top of it, and it raises a car 23 inches in 35 seconds, 32 inches with the included blocks. A 58-inch sedan at full rise tops out around 7 and a half feet.

It's a tilt-back tower machine, which means the tool head drops back to the same position for every wheel in a matched set instead of being readjusted one at a time like a swing-arm. The electric turntable turns deliberately rather than fast, so low-profile beads relax into the drop center instead of snapping. Your classic shouldn't have to hold a parking space hostage twelve months a year.

The Autostacker A6S is a fully collapsible parking lift rated at 6,000 lbs. Most portable lifts physically can't reach a full-size truck's lift points. The QuickJack 8000TLX was built to fix that, with 76-inch frames and a 43 to 66 inch lift point spread that covers just about every half-ton crew cab and body-on-frame SUV on the road.

It's rated for 8,000 lbs and reaches full rise in about 30 seconds on a standard 110V outlet. Two mechanical lock positions hold the load, and a pressure-compensated flow divider keeps both frames climbing in sync so the truck comes up level. When you're done it folds to 3.5 inches and rolls into the corner on its own wheels, so your garage bay goes back to being a garage bay.
