No bottle required!
With the average American using 11 bottles of shampoo a year, these large, bulky plastic containers are a significant contributor to many households' annual waste.
How many plastic bottles are in the ocean? The number of plastic bottles in the sea is unknown, but over 250 billion were not recycled. Around 8-9 million metric tons of plastic end up in our oceans every year. That's the equivalent of a garbage truck emptying plastic into the ocean every single minute.
If every person just swapped one single plastic bottle from their life for a more sustainable option, think of the impact that could make!
