Little changes make a big difference! There was green in this room. However, when I decided I was going to put this house on Airbnb I knew I wanted to make this room have a few more neutral touches…which is rare for me.

I had the carpet replaced in this room before I moved in with the floors throughout the rest of the house. Then all this room needed was some accents, paint and new bedding. It looks completely different with very little effort put into it. My favorite kind of projects! Swipe to see the before.

Just one more view of this space with a different angle because I love it so much.

I’m spending all day today cleaning after Thanksgiving and getting ready for Christmas. I’m excited for the holidays this year because I have the perfect space to celebrate the holidays. It’s great for hanging out with family, snuggling by the fire with hot chocolate, and watching endless hours of sappy romance Christmas Movies (guilty pleasure for this girl).

This room is finally done! I didn’t do a ton in this room to make it look like a totally different space. Proof that impacts to a room don’t have to be a full renovation. Work with what you have and use alternate materials to get the look you want.

These built ins were a DIY project built using precut shelves from , pre fabricated cabinets and shiplap sheets from , and pewter green from .

Progress is happening with these built ins!! This was a super easy project because it was done with all prefab or precut items. I used the prefabricated kitchen cabinets from , precut and designed shelves from , special pine boards, and painted them Pewter Green from . Swipe to see what the entire space looks like and what the prepainted process looks like. Can’t wait to show you the complete space!

I’m gearing up to show y’all my next project. Before I do, I am resharing the before and after of this entryway. It’s really my favorite view of the whole house and sets the tone for the design of the rest of the home.

I did so many DIY projects here, so be sure to check out my story archives and reels to see how I did it. Swipe to see what the house looked like when I moved in.

DIY projects in this space:
- Handmade dining table
- Herringbone LVP floors
- Stair rebuild
- Wallpaper
- Stair balusters and railing
- DIY bar table
- Tile walls
- Kitchen cabinet painting
- Painted piano

Y’all ready for this reveal? It’s here! Swipe to see what this bathroom looked like before I gave it a facelift. The best part about this space is nothing had to be demoed! I worked with everything that was here to make it a brand new space. I saved money and time doing this.

For this makeover, I:
- put up new paneling
- wallpaper the walls
- painted all the new trim
- replaced the hardware and bathroom fixtures
- purchased new cabinet facings
- tile stickers the floor

What do y’all think?

There’s been a lot of life happening over here, so I’ve been pretty quiet over here. It’s been good to reset, refocus, and reprioritize as I figure out what I’ve got planned next. As some thar is still unfolding, I have some house projects that I can finally say are complete! First up, the home exterior renovation is fully done.

Y’all I honestly didn’t do any of the work myself. All I did was the color choices and landscape design. I hired out the hard part.

I have a full time corporate job, so there are just somethings I can’t do myself! Which is totally fine. Sometimes the time it takes out weighs the cost and this was definitely one of those scenarios.

The result was worth it! This house is starting to feel like the home it was meant to be, and I’m so proud of how far we’ve come.

I’m on a mission to be more in shape in 2022. If you spend anytime around me, you know I am a 73 year old stuck in a 30 year olds body. I love naps, and I always have. I used to give my Grams a hard time for taking a nap every single day of her life, but now I do the same darn thing she used to do! So when I’m not napping, I’ve got to keep active!

My friend and I both have walking desks, and my daily goal is to get close to her step count. Y’all - this chick walks more miles than anyone I’ve ever met. Today at 4:30pm my watch is telling me she’s walked 15 miles. Just today. What?!? I am definitely not going to make 15 miles today, so maybe tomorrow?

I also feel like my watch isn’t counting all my steps. Any tips for Apple watches and treadmill? Are there better fitness tracking options for walking on a treadmill when your arms/hands aren’t moving much?
