Simply Inkspired

Simply Inkspired Art depicted in deep details and finite intricacies, to illustrate the omni-presence of God in the beauty of life. Most people communicate with words.

I communicate best through my artwork. To me, it is like an open journal into my life, illustrating struggles through sharp lines and dark colors, and happiness through curves and bright colors. The more intricate details in a piece, the more I have to say, And I have a lot to say. So I encourage you to please look at my artwork, and share my ups and downs with every stroke of the pen I make and c

olor change I create. In doing so, I hope to give you a different insight, a newfound perspective, and hopefully a sense of peace and creativity.

Day 10 of the art advent calendar 💌✨
Watercolor postcards—because art is even better when it’s shared.
Would you paint these to send or keep for yourself?
Save this if you love cold-pressed paper

Day 9 🔥✨
Crimson Flame is bold, dramatic, and impossible to ignore.
Florals? Berries? Statement accents?
Would you use this sparingly or go all in?

Day 7 of my art advent calendar 🍯✨
Honeycomb is warm, golden, and feels like sunlight on paper.
Would you use this for florals, details, or backgrounds?
Tell me below & come back tomorrow 🤍

Day 6 ✨
Celestial Blue—because every palette needs a color that feels calm and endless. 💙
Can you picture this in a winter sky or floral shadow?
Save this color if you love cool tones 🎨

Ending this year with gratitude in my heart and trust in what’s ahead. God was faithful in every season—through the answered prayers, the waiting, the lessons, and even the moments I didn’t understand at the time. As this chapter closes, I’m choosing to rest in His timing, lay down what I’m not meant to carry, and step forward with hope and faith for the year to come. Amen.

Having hope.
Not because everything is perfect—
but because we choose to believe something beautiful is still unfolding.

Hope grows in layers.
In the waiting.
In trusting the process before the picture is complete.

If you need a reminder today, this is it:
hope can surround you, hold you, and meet you right where you are.
Save this for later 🤍

Day 2 of the art advent calendar
A travel brush that’s ready whenever inspiration strikes—at home or on the go.
Round brushes are my go-to! Are they yours too?
Save this if watercolor tools make your heart happy 🤍

I started this piece with my two least favorite colors—
the ones I usually avoid because they never feel “me.”
But sometimes creativity asks us to make peace with what feels uncomfortable…
to trust that something beautiful can still come from what we don’t naturally love.

Layer by layer, those colors softened, blended, and surprised me—
proving that beauty isn’t limited to what we prefer,
and growth doesn’t happen only in comfortable places.

Art is funny like that—
it teaches us to embrace what we’d normally reject,
to experiment with grace,
and to let the unexpected become lovely.

Day 1 of my Etchr Lab 12-day art advent calendar!
My husband surprised me with this for Christmas, and it’s meant to be opened from December 25 through January 5—one little creative joy each day. 🤍

We’re starting with the cutest Etchr llama pin 🦙
A sweet reminder that art doesn’t have to be serious to be meaningful. It is meant to be playful and enjoyed.

Follow along as I open one each day and share what’s inside.
Where should I pin this little guy? Comment your suggestions below to give me some ideas!

This season, we don’t just celebrate the beauty of Christmas—we celebrate the miracle. ✨
God stepping into the world, wrapped in humility and love, changing everything forever.

Amid the lights, the decorations, and the busyness, may we pause to remember the true gift:
‘For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given.’ — Isaiah 9:6 🎄

Take a quiet moment today to reflect on His grace, and let your heart make room for Him this Christmas.

🤍 Save this as a reminder, share it with someone who could use encouragement, and tell me—what does the true meaning of Christmas look like for you?

A simple wreath to celebrate a sacred season—evergreen hope, gentle joy, and love that never fades. 🤍🎄
As the world grows louder, may our hearts grow quieter, making room for what truly matters. Christmas is a reminder that hope was born, light entered the darkness, and love came near.

May this season point us back to faith, gratitude, and the beauty of His presence in even the simplest moments.
