Check out our beautiful Norman Normandy shutters in color Wenge.
Yes, there are other colors besides ⬜
And other materials besides plastic.
Norman shutters are made similar to fine wood furnishings with mortise and tenon joinery, recessed magnets, and stainless steel Staples attaching tilt rods to louvers for easy and tight operation.
Norman harvests their own wood and conditions the product for the region that will be its final resting place. That means it's especially prepared for our dry heat, extreme sun, and unpredictable wind. These shutters have a lifetime of 25 years and you can see why!

I've been with JCPenney for over 2 years. I wasn't new to design but I was new to the processes and standards of the job. That being said, I made a lot of mistakes on the path to knowledge. I mean a lot, A LOT.
I'm no perfect person. The mistakes I've made have had their own set of consequences. I've endured my fair share of backlash, understandably. I take responsibility for what I didn't know I didn't know in hopes that it will lead me to making less mistakes and more lifelong customers.
So today, whoever you may be interacting with, be kind to their process and demonstrate a bit more understanding than necessary. We are all here to thrive.

How high should you go above your window?

What is just right?

I hear these questions all the time and, honestly, it's purely your preference. However...

You want to consider some things, such as hardware, rings, pleat, clearance, appearance from the outside, protection factor...and about a dozen more factors can play into this.

As a designer, I am taking what it is you're telling me making it into a vision. It's my expertise and attention to detail that ensures your expectations into reality.

But in all honesty...unless there's a window above this window, these are too high. 🤣
