First look at new work by Christen Benat🌸

Christen’s love of painting began early, and was shaped by her mother and sparked by discovering the Impressionists in third grade. After a career in creative fields, she has spent over two decades painting commissioned portraits for families across Texas.

Now expanding her work beyond figures and horses, Christen explores still life and florals layered with rich color, texture and depth.

A rare studio release from Jim Doughty.

A limited selection of archival photographs are now available as part of a studio inventory reduction. These works explore the sculptural, abstract beauty of organic forms, capturing flowers in intimate detail where scale, proximity and light transform the familiar into something unexpected.

Influenced by modernist traditions and inspired by his father’s World War II photography, Doughty’s images reveal a quiet luminosity.

Each print is produced using archival Iris printing with Lyson inks on 100% rag paper, crafted to last generations.
