I am so excited to be a part of an IG hop and fat quarter bundle giveaway in celebration of the new Starlit Signature Collection from Island Batik (a division of ), designed by Jerry Khiev for Amanda Bauer of .

To celebrate this fabric collection arriving in stores, a group of talented designers
has come together to share inspiration using Starlit fabric with our quilt
patterns. I cannot get over how beautifully it works across different designs. Shown here are mockups of:

Blue and I did a 4.25 mile walk this morning down to Pan Pacific Park that has the most gorgeous view of the hills where we ran into two Dalmatian puppies (not pictured). Just some pictures along the way. Does anyone know that the prickly tree is?

Who is ready for International Quilt Festival in Houston? I am! Show starts today in Houston. I’ll be walking the show along with popping in and out of My Fabric Addictions booth #1447. Happy Birthday to my puppy sidekick, Blue Belle!! The pup that has my heart, that drives me insane most days, the stubborn girl that just wants to go her way on a walk, the girl that forces me out of the house, the girl that wants to meet every person and every puppy but then gets too anxious and eats grass, the girl that will put herself in timeout when she is bad or too much, the protector of the yard (no lizard, bird, snake, or squirrel can cross), the girl that cannot be trusted with a cat and has lost in a cat fight, the girl with a personality that wins over the hearts of some non pitbull peeps, the girl that smiles, talks, and shakes her butt for attention, the girl that has a big prey drive and will only play with a toy for a few minutes (you get maybe two throws and she is done, like mom that’s fake), the girl that I love so much. She spent her morning soaking up the Sun. What better way to spend part of HER day? Now to go pick up her dad from the airport and get some treats. Pup cup?!?
