I was invited to teach Hawaiian Needle Turn Applique at VCU in Culpepper VA this past Saturday. I show my students less conventional techniques to allow for more detail in the design and how to embellish their project to make it their own. What a great group of talented quilters who were fast learners.

I loved that I got to stay with my good friend Vanna Klein whom I had not seen in way too long.

Wonderful evening with The Baltimore Applique Society Guild in Ellicott City, MD! My lecture focused on applique of course... Loved seeing friends and students in the audience. I felt right at home.
