It's time to be Grateful! The sun will be setting on Friday, August 8, and Saturday, August 9, as the Sunset Concert Series presents The Days Between Weekend Fest featuring The Cosmic Jam on Friday and The Rap Jacks: A Tribute to The Grateful Dead on Saturday. The Days Between refers to the 9 days between Jerry Garcia's birthday (August 1) and his death (August 9) and is a term used by Grateful Dead fans to refer to this period of time, particularly as a way to honor and remember Jerry Garcia. It also refers to one of their songs.
The Cosmic Jam hails from New Smyrna Beach and jams to covers from the Grateful Dead and defines itself as "Where Rock And Jam Band Worlds Collide."
The Rap Jacks were formed in the heart of Central Florida, in the Orlando area, and have become a local favorite and a powerhouse in the Grateful Dead tribute world.
Sunset Concerts begin at 7:30 PM in the Riverfront Esplanade across from the Brown & Brown building at 355 N. Beach Street in Downtown Daytona Beach. The venue is situated on the beautifully manicured lawn of the Riverfront Esplanade, offering a stunning view of the Intracoastal Waterway. It features ample free parking, well-maintained restrooms, and a full bar. Additionally, food trucks and a Shakedown Street Vendors Row (a group of Grateful Dead fans that come together to sell handmade and customized Grateful Dead merchandise) will be on site for both Friday and Saturday concerts.
Three tiers of advance tickets are available on Best of Daytona

ONE-DAY TICKET (either Friday OR Saturday):
General Admission: $20 per person per day (may bring a chair or rent one for $5.00)
General Admission with Chair provided: $25 per person per day
VIP Prime Seating (shared table for four): $40 per person per day
TWO-DAY TICKET (both Friday AND Saturday):
Two-Day Ticket General Admission: $30 per person (may bring a chair or rent one for $5.00)
Two-Day Ticket General Admission with Chair provided: $35 per person
Two-Day Ticket VIP Prime Seating (shared table for four): $60 per person
Tickets available at the gate both Friday and Saturday: $30 per person per day (may bring a chair or rent one for $5, if available)
