Tornado Relief Fundraiser Update

A big thank you to those that made a purchase from my website for the month of August. A portion of each sale went towards a fundraiser for the tornado relief for the Fox Valley. Since I am a native of Appleton, born and raised, I wanted to give back to my beloved community after this storm hit.

A little over a month ago a violent storm ripped through the Fox Valley on July 27, 2026 during the lunch hour. It was determined to be an EF-3 tornado. Some areas of Appleton were damaged but the brunt of the storm hit Menasha leaving a path of devastation. Thankfully no one was killed.

I raised just over $200 that was donated to the United Way Fox Cities Tornado Relief Program. It has amazed me how much the local community in the Fox Valley has stepped up to help those in need.

Fundraiser

On Monday July 27, 2026 a violent storm went through the Fox Valley area creating a path of destruction in it’s wake. Menasha was one of the hardest hit areas with a confirmed EF-3 tornado. This story hits home for me since I am originally from Appleton, my parents and relatives live in Appleton. The storm came so fast, it was here and gone in about 30 minutes. Amazingly no one was killed.

Thankfully my parents and relatives in the area didn’t have any damage to their homes. They lost power. Other places in Appleton and Menasha weren’t as lucky. Sadly many people’s homes and businesses were destroyed when the tornado hit.

I have been amazed by the wonderful people and local businesses that have stepped up to help out.

For the month of August 2026 I will be donating a portion of my sales to United Way Fox Cities to help out with the relief effort. (shop link in bio).
