Made from 1” thick hardwood (cannot remember the name of the wood, but it’s a premium wood), hollowed and resin filled with detail cuts of wood inserted. And then, engraved badges and brass name plate.

A super special project done for the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indian’s, whom helped host a conference this week for the American Indian Tourism Conference. These rabbit sticks are hand crafted by the very talented B-Rad! He trudged through the woods finding the right type of wood, the right size and shape, and then took it back to hand carved each one (of like 50). Talent and patience! I had the easy part of just engraving them!

Hey yall! What have I been up to? Well, here’s one project. It is definitely one of my faves. A mixed media of acrylic, wood, resin, leather, and beadwork. The beadwork was NOT done by me, but by an amazingly talented MBCI Tribal Member and artisan.

These were made for the Shots 4 Tots golf tournament this past weekend.

It’s been minute but I’ve been here! Sorry about that. Mostly I’ve been busy with work-work and Choctaw Indian Fair stuff for their 75th anniversary which is going on RIGHT NOW! These awards were made for the little Mr. and Mrs. Choctaw Indian Fair. Colors reflect some of the bright colors in their regalia.
