My husband (Gary Reedy) & I have set up a new business account on Facebook. It is called Highland Custom Knives & Guitar Picks. We make custom knives using high quality blades from major suppliers. We hand craft the knife handles from domestic and imported woods. We also handmake Guitar and Mandolin Picks from agates and other semi-precious stones such as jasper, emerald matrix, and various quartzes. We invite you to check out our site. Here is a picture of a handle replacement that I did for a customer. The original handle on the knife shown was a plastic molding. The replacement handle is a beautiful Spalded Maple that has been kiln-dried. In addition to making custom knives, we also offer handle replacements and we sell handle book-matched scales from various hardwoods, both domestic and imported.

This is me checking out a potential fishing spot. My favorite pastimes are kayaking, fishing, and enjoying the North woods of Michigan's Upper Peninsula. I am not sure how long I will allow my crafting to interfere with my fishing & kayaking - so grab these picks and knifes while they are still available!
