What a challenge this breakaway roper has been! This image has so much going on. I've been wrestling with it for days and Neil and Camiel's eyes have been giving me perspective. Almost got it figured out. For those looking to tackle making a mold with sculpting like this, remember - extra clay is key in many areas or you'll face some ugly undercuts when casting. Things that look too big hopefully won’t on a finished piece of my horsehair pottery. Stay tuned!

Sadly, I will not have a booth at the Midwest Horse Fair this year. I recently had surgery for a torn rotator cuff and will not be able to create my hand-thrown horsehair pottery for several months.
