When someone asks me to explain my process 😂 🎨

Sometimes my projects are very much on the fly. It’s a little chaotic! But I know what I’m doing (usually)

I had a very vague idea of what these Seraphim sisters would look. I didn’t have much practice painting on black cotton rag so it was a bit of a challenge, but they turned out beautifully 👼

I’m exploring Fungi, insects/bugs (specifically the ones that eat decaying things) and beautiful appendages (heads and hands 🙌 💀.

Beautiful Decay is a little exploration of the strange beauty found in things that are slowly returning to the earth and the life they provide during this process. I’ve been having so much fun creating this collection, and I’m excited to share a little piece of it through August’s mail! 🌿✨

Beautiful Decay - Moth 🦋

A rare 💯 pure color pencil drawing! I had a lot of fun using this medium on its own, it’s been a while 🤭 !! Definitely looking forward to playing with pencil more!

Inky cap hand was a way for me to practice my graphite skills and hand anatomy. I don’t ever do anything on black and white so this was a nice change of pace!
Looking forward to doing more of these 😉

Getting into a spooky mood!
I made this sketch to celebrate the slow approach of October! Is it more than a month early? Why, yes my careful and astute observer!
But I just simply can’t wait!

The Remorseful Jester 🎭 💧

There are a few elements I love about this painting. What is your favorite? ❤️

This collection of works has got me thinking a lot about masks and facade. I love having my jesters/clowns reveal their true feelings.

Fun Fact:
Originally, this one was not designed to be holding a mask.
I added it in after painting her. I needed her to reveal her true face.
