I finally have a little creative corner of my own! 🤎✨

This awkward, unused spot in our home has been begging for a purpose, and the HULALA HOME Veritas Desk ended up fitting here perfectly. I love that I can use it as my everyday workspace, but the 360° rotating desktop gives me extra room when I’m working on projects. It also adjusts from sitting to standing and has so much hidden storage for all the random things I’m constantly trying to organize. 🙌🏻

I had so much fun turning this forgotten corner into a cozy, colorful space that actually works for our family.

You can shop the HULALA HOME Home Office Collection through the link in my bio, and use code SPM20 for 20% off!

5 easy ways to make your front porch look better this fall 🍂🎃

You definitely don’t need to start from scratch every season! I keep most of the bigger pieces on our porch year-round and just swap in a few things to make it feel cozy for fall.

1. Layer your doormats
One of my favorite tricks for making an entry feel more finished! I bought a new doormat this year, but I’ve reused the same ones for multiple seasons in the past. A larger outdoor rug underneath makes even a basic doormat feel more substantial. It should be slightly wider than your front door.

2. Stick with year-round staples
Our planters, tall faux pines and rocking chair stay out pretty much all year. Having a good base makes seasonal decorating SO much easier. Also, I t’s taken me years to collect all of these things so that it feels just right!

3. Add mums for seasonal color
Probably the quickest way to make a porch instantly feel like fall! I like using a couple different colors and placing them at different heights instead of lining everything up. Here’s hoping I keep them all alive 🤞🏻

4. Cluster pumpkins in different sizes 🎃
Rather than spreading pumpkins evenly around the porch, group different sizes, shapes and colors together. It makes a bigger impact and gives everything that collected, layered look. I had a color scheme in mind when selecting the pumpkins too.

5. Swap in a few cozy details
A fall wreath + a different throw pillow were really all I needed to finish it off. Little seasonal swaps can change the whole feel without replacing everything you already have.

And that’s it! 🍂 Most of the porch stayed exactly the same. I just added a few seasonal layers.

Save this for when you decorate your porch this fall! 🎃

Dinosaur National Monument with kids 🦕⛺️ We went for the dinosaurs, but there was SO much more here than I expected! Saving all the details from our trip here ↓

WHY DINOSAUR? 🏜️
• Dinosaurs are obviously the main attraction, but the scenery was such a surprise! Similar to Moab which I love!
• Think huge rock formations, hiking, rivers + tons of places for kids to explore.
• The park spans both Utah + Colorado — we spent our trip on the Utah side near Jensen.

THE DINOSAURS 🦕
• The Quarry Exhibit Hall was definitely a highlight.
• You can see 1,500+ dinosaur fossils still embedded in the rock wall — and there are even places where you can touch real dinosaur bones! I’ve never seen so many real dinosaur fossils in my life!
• You take a short shuttle from the visitor center up to the Quarry.

WHERE WE CAMPED ⛺️
• We stayed 3 nights at Green River Campground inside the park.
• The campground sits right along the Green River and is only a few miles from the Quarry.
• No hookups, but such a pretty setting and a great home base for exploring.

MADE FOR LITTLE EXPLORERS 🥾
• Our boys are 3, 8 + 10 and there was plenty for all three ages.
• Easy hikes, rocks to scramble on, playing along the river + Junior Ranger activities.
• Our favorite hike was the Sound of Silence Trail - beautiful desert scenery, cool rock formations + lots of opportunities for the kids to climb and explore along the way.

DON’T FORGET TO LOOK UP ✨
• The stars were INCREDIBLE. Dinosaur has very little light pollution, and we could see the Milky Way right from our campground.

WOULD WE GO BACK? 100%. 🤎
It was such an easy mix of dinosaurs + camping + hiking + beautiful scenery without feeling like we had to cram a million things into each day.

Save this one for a future family road trip! 🦕🏕️
